DECEMBER 29TH 2015 FIDDLER ON THE ROOF - BROADWAY
(A) Notes: The first couple minutes of act two are blacked out, but the show is otherwise fully captured. There some heads at the bottom that can be seen occasionally, but they rarely affect the action. A few scenes are very dark, but the actors’ faces can be seen, and there is very little washout in the brighter scenes. It’s filmed in 16:9, with a mix of wides, mediums, and close-ups. The sound is excellent.

JUNE 5TH 2003 LITTLE SHOP OF HORRORS- FLORIDA (PRE-BROADWAY)
(A-) Notes: the pre-Broadway tryout of "Little Shop of Horrors" at the Miracle Theatre in Coral Gables, FL. This production is exceptionally notable, as it features Lee Wilkof, the original Seymour, in the role of Mr. Mushnik, and it was directed by Lee's wife Connie Grappo, who was Howard Ashman's assistant during the show's original run, and Robert Stack as the pre-recorded voice of the narrator. Stack died two days before the production opened. Unfortunately, when the show went to Broadway later in the year, it featured a different director and entirely now plants, sets, and (with the exception of Hunter Foster) cast.
